Fairy meadows with amazing views can be found right under the rocky spiers of the Hochkönig massif. The ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area is a large parking lot at the end of the mountain road leading to the Arthurhaus Hotel (1,509m above sea level). From here, take the classic Hochkönig ascent hike or follow the simple Königsweg hike along the massif.
