Hochkönig (2 941 m above sea level) is an extensive limestone massif located in the Salzburg region. It is a mountain of many faces. From the south, you will be impressed by the massive, perpendicular walls full of limestone towers rising high above the surrounding meadows. Otherwise, it is an extensive limestone plateau, almost without vegetation
