Bolivia is a very tourist-friendly country – no visas, complicated permit processing (as in Himalayan Asia) or mandatory guides and expensive entrances to national parks (as in Africa). The perfect country for those who prefer free travel.

Entry into the country is without a visa and without fees. However, the stay may not exceed 90 days a year. More at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In general, you can move around the Bolivian mountains completely freely without any permits to enter or camp.
