In Belize you will not find too important monuments. The main attractions are preserved Mayan pyramid in two locations.

There is not much to see in Belize City and the word „City“ is quite ridiculous. You can see the whole town even in two hours. It mainly serves as a get in, get out destination. The most interesting sight is probably St. John’s Cathedral.

- Altun Ha: Located about 50 km from Belize City
- Caracol: The largest in the country, less restored than Altun Ha, located in the jungle
