The only ridge post-war hut
Vrbatova bouda has a great location on the edge of the Golden Hill at an altitude of 1,395 m above sea level, it was named after Vávlav Vrbat, who tragically died here while trying to help his friend Bohumil Hanč. It is the only ridge hut that was added after 1945. It was built at the end of Masaryk's mountain road in 1964, but gradually fell into disrepair. In 2016, it underwent extensive reconstruction, thanks to which it acquired today's modern appearance.
Accommodation and meals
Vrbatova bouda does not offer accommodation. There is only a restaurant, a snack bar, public toilets and an information center.
Bus line
As one of the few ridge huts, Vrbatova is accessible by bus. The Busline company operates the Horní Mísečky – Zlaté Návší line in the summer. The highest Czech bus stop is on the road loop directly below the shed. By using this connection, a lot of time and effort can be saved when embarking on a ridge hike.

From the height there is a beautiful view of the surrounding beauty of the Giant Mountains.
