Playa Amadores is a seaside resort on the south side of Gran Canaria. Together with the resort of Maspalomas, it is one of the most popular locations on the island. Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is a small port adjacent to Playa Amadores. Both towns are connected by a promenade and about a kilometer apart. While Amadores consists mainly of hotels, Puerto Rico is more made up of different apartments. At the same time, there is the possibility of greater cultural activities. There are many shops, bars and restaurants. At the same time, it is possible to buy various boat trips or water sports (scooters, banana rides, etc.)
Swimming in Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico also has a fairly large sandy beach near the port. This beach is not nearly as nice as in Amadores, but at the same time there are far fewer people.
