Hike through the mysterious places of the Příhrazské rocks
The hike from Valečov over the mysterious sacrificial stone, the Hynšta prayer house to the beautiful views of the edge of the Příhrazské rocks is significantly less walked than, for example, the surroundings of Drábské světničky. Still, it has a lot to offer. This route is mostly used by tourists doing longer circuits through the Příhrazské rocks. This part from Valečov to Příhraz is about 8 km long.
Cherries under Male
Before you go on a hike from Valeč in the direction of Příhrazy, be sure to go through this interesting „rock castle“: https: //www.gigaplaces.com/clanek-prohlidka-valecova-a-okoli/. After a while, you will arrive at the crossroads of a rock garden, where you will disconnect from the red tourist path and thus from most other pilgrims. Following the blue route, you can reach the cherry orchards in a few minutes, which are backed by the Můžský peak – a volcano towering over this sandstone rock town.
Forests
Before the road descends between the sandstone rocks, a lookout opens up wide into the region and in a solitude called Zápudov.
Rock den
You are slowly approaching the first major attraction on the way to the Sacrificial Stone. Even before him is this interesting cave
Sacrificial stone in the Bohemian Paradise
Several legends are translated around the sacrificial stone in Příhrazské skaly. The groove where the blood flowed is also clear. Be sure to go on this hike even though it is a small walk uphill.
Sudánka Hrdinka
On the hike, it is also possible to refill the water at the Hrdinka well, standing at the crossroads of hiking trails, in an emergency. The more frequented cycle path from Branžeže disconnects here, so you will really go from there almost alone.
Rock castles
In the places where you can get out of the forest, the local sandstone massifs look like impregnable castles
Viewpoint close to Hynšta
At the crossroads of Černá louže, continue along the blue one, if you want to visit the nice prayer house Hynšta. The road leads for a long time through the forest with only limited views, followed by an ascent and then finally a turn to Hynště. Just in front of it is another nice view of the region.
Hynšta
Finally, you will reach Hynště, a former small rocky castle, which subsequently served as a prayer house. This place has a special charm and there are plenty of places to sleep bivouac.
Surroundings of Hynšta
From the rock castle, the terrain drops sharply in practically all directions into shady gorges.
View of the Příhrazské rocks
From Hynšta, it is only a short distance at the crossroads with the main red hiking trail connecting Kost with Příhrazy. From here it is only a short distance to the edge of the rock massif with a great view of the Příhrazské skal massif and maybe even to Ještěd.
View of the Giant Mountains and the Jizera Mountains
From the viewpoint there is a beautiful view to the north of the ridge of the Jizera Mountains. The goal of this stage – Dams, lies directly below you.
Descent to Příhraz
The path descends steeply up stairs along high snow-white rock towers. It is possible to have a snack right in Příhrazy and there is also a large parking lot. You can continue on a beautiful path through the „Old Castle“: https: //www.gigaplaces.com/clanek-tura-pres-stara-hrada/
