At the very southern end of Thailand, near the border with Malaysia, you will find the beautiful Tarutao National Park. It is a group of more than 51 islands, of which about 5 are quite large. The most famous of these is the relatively flat Ko Lipe, which is largely built up and turned into a tourist base with lots of beaches. The other islands of the national park are very mountainous and have an interior with impenetrable native jungle. Only a few footpaths on these islands leading mostly to some nice waterfalls. Among the largest islands in the national park are of course the largest Ko Tarutao, then Ko Adang, Ko Rawi and Ko Butang
