The south of the island of Ko Lipe is dominated by the largest beach of the island – Pattaya. If you continue from it to the west, you will come across a small fairy-tale bay where, unlike Pattaya, there is complete calm. At the bay you will find the Sanom Beach Resort, but access to the sea is of course free even for non-accommodated guests.

End of Pattaya Beach

When you arrive at the very western end of Pattaya Beach, you will see a wooden footbridge placed on the coastal boulders. This is the way to Sanom Beach. Directly above the road is the interesting accommodation Chareena Hill Beach Resort .

Path over boulders

The bridge over the boulders itself is completely safe, so you don't have to be afraid to go to Sanom beach at all. After all, all accommodation in this locality go to the center of Ko Lipe

Above Sanom Beach

If you don't want to go back the same way, or if you just want to extend the walk, you can go uphill on the footpath. After a while you will come across a road leading through the interior of the island from east to west
