The beach to watch the sunset in Ko Lipe
Sunset beach is the least visited of the main beaches on Ko Lipe. One reason is the fact that there are no nice resorts here, but a rather desolate campsite. The southern part of the beach is already more lively (in the evening) because there is a restaurant that is perfect for watching the sunset.
Road to Sunset Beach
The main access to the beach is from the south from the road running through the center of the island to its western end. Here are the stairs to the restaurants. Alternatively, you can take the path through the „camp“, where it is quite busy, but you will get straight to the northern, quiet end of the beach.
North end of the beach
If you already visit Sunset Beach, head to its northern end. Here it is the most beautiful, and there is also a picturesque rock garden at the end.
View from the rock
From the rock you can see a little to the next bay and on the horizon to the famous sand spit.
The southern part of Sunset Beach
In our presence, the southern part of Sunset Beach was probably the least suitable place for swimming on the island of Ko Lipe. Lots of seaweed and grass and general junk.
Sitting on the beach
On the contrary, sitting with a view of the sunset looked tempting.
