Mountains

Petr Liška Wrote 06.02.2015:

The north-western Altiplano has the interesting fact that there is both the highest mountain in Bolivia – Nevado Sajama (6,542 m above sea level) and the most beautiful – Parinacota (6,342 m above sea level). In total, there are four peaks higher than 6,000 meters above sea level and a number of only slightly lower volcanoes. All these highest peaks are relatively well accessible from the village of Sajama.

  • ** Llamas: ** There are whole herds of llamas around the village of Sajama.
