As the valley of the Hunza River crosses the monumental main Karakoram ridge, it is surrounded by a number of massive glaciated 7,000-meter mountains. Highest mountains: Batura Sar (7,795 m above sea level), Rakaposhi (7,788 m above sea level), Schisparé Sar (7,611 m above sea level), Pasu Sar (7,478 m above sea level), Ultar Sar (7,388 m above sea level), Momhil Sar (7,343 m above sea level), Lupghar Sar (7,200m asl)
