Basically, driving through all the roads that lead through the main ridge of the mountains is a great experience. Portachuelo to Llanganuco (4,767 m above sea level): probably the most famous road connecting Yungay with Yanama with beautiful views of Huascaran Punta Olimpica (4,920 m above sea level): the highest road in Peru (now a tunnel under the summit) connecting Carhuaz with Chacas Kahuish (4,516 m above sea level) ): tunnel at the highest point of the road leading to Chavin de Hunatar
