Place Wat Thaton

Wat Thaton is an extensive set of Buddhist buildings scattered on the hills above Thaton. The most famoust parts of the complex are huge white Buddha statue (Phra Buddha Nirandornchai), sitting Buddha protected by serpent Naga (Phra Nakprok) and stupa Chedi Kaew Pagoda. If you are going to go through all the buildings of the temple, count with a relatively long walk along a mountain ridge.
