Buddhist temple in the mountains
Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Buddhist Temple is located on a hill near Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. In the temple we find a beautiful golden stupa, several dozen statues of Buddhas, a long staircase with dragons and other attractions.
Parking and entrance
Parking at the temple, where we can leave our scooter or get fat here by grease, bath, red bus or car. There is also a small souvenir market and golden buddha statues by the car park.
Staircase with dragons
A long staircase leads to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which is lined with the bodies of two dragons. At the upper end of the stairs is a cash register and the entrance to the temple.
Gold all around
In the main part of the temple there is a large golden stupa and many statues of Buddhas and Buddhist relics.
Monks in temples
In the temples around the stupa there are other amazing colored statues and drawings. Monks often sit here and some may tie bracelets for good luck to your hand.
Green buddha
Among the golden buddhas we find the green buddha.
