One of the biggest attractions around the town of Nauders are the Goldseen lakes. The so-called upper lake Goldseen (2,590m) is considered the most beautiful of them. You can reach it from the Bergkastel cable car station after about 3.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 450 meters. The lake itself is quite large – measuring 200 meters by 130 meters. It offers beautiful views of the Bergkastelspitze (2912 m)
