Nauders (1,350m) is a picturesque Tyrolean town located on the border not only of three states, but also of three mountain ranges. It is only 5 kilometers from Italy and eight kilometers from Switzerland. At the same time, it lies at the very western end of the Ötztal Alps. Beyond the main road or the Stiller bach stream is the lesser-known Sesvenna mountain range, and beyond the Inn river is the Samnau mountain range. There are several monuments in the city itself, including a nice castle. You can then take a whole range of hikes and walks directly from Nauders. There are, of course, a number of accommodation options. Apart Padöller, for example, offers a good location.
