Potos is the largest summer resort in the south of Thassos. The local beach is more than 600 meters long and is freely connected to the beach of San Antonio further to the south. The northern part of the beach adjacent to the harbor is heavily overcrowded. It is therefore worth going in a more southerly direction. The beach is mostly sandy. However, there are also sections with stones.
