Walk through Notos to the rock formation

We will start the walk at the beach of Notos Thassos. In the promotional materials you will see it from a height and without people the reality is of course different and in the main season it no longer has such charm due to the fact that, despite its size or smallness, there is also a tavern and parasols here. You can park by the road and then there is a relatively steep path down.

We climb the path to the cliff and have a nice view from the other side.

The path over the cliff continues to the second bay /so you don't have to move along the road at all/. A nice view of Rosonkremos beach awaits you, which, thanks to its size, does not look as crowded as Notos.

The beach itself is quite picturesque, but right at the edge there are smooth rock slabs under the water, so there are entrances to the water through sandbags

At the end of the beach, the third stage of our walk begins – the path to the rock formation. we keep walking along the coast. The rocks look quite unpleasant from a distance, which is probably why not many people go here, but in reality they are not difficult to walk

Looking back, you can see the small cliff separating the two beaches in the distance.

The rocks under our feet change color from white to red, and almost as if in the palm of our hand we have the well-known local rock formation in front of us.

The rock formation itself is several meters high and is surrounded by a wild rocky coast.

You have two options for the return trip. Either you return the same way or you go up the footpath to the road and walk back along it, which is faster but not entirely pleasant in the traffic that prevails here. But there is also a nice view of „our“ rocky area by the road.
