A trip to a beautiful beach on the island of Thassos
Paradise Beach is one of the most famous beaches on Thassos. It lies roughly almost in the middle of its eastern coast. It is ideal for those who like sandy beaches with smaller waves – so mostly families with children. There are two places around the beach where you can park or right next to the main road.
Arrival at the beach
The beach is made of pale yellow sand, about 300 meters long and relatively wide. Here, organized sections alternate with free ones. A well-known landmark is the island of Kinira, which looks like a pyramid sticking out of the sea.
View inland
Another reason why this beach is so popular is the beautiful green surroundings. The mountain slopes here are densely covered with pine trees.
View from north to south
The beach is very shallow, so another reason why it is ideal for families with children. Roaming in smaller waves is the main fun here.
North end of Paradise Beach
The northern end of the beach invites you to take a short walk between the rocks and small coves.
The southern part of Paradise Beach
The southern part of the beach is closed by a cliff, but there are several rocks that you can climb on or go snorkeling.
