The Ötztal is a nearly seventy kilometer long valley. It is the border between two important mountain groups – the Ötztal and Stubai Alps. It is the longest side valley in Austria. It is a paradise for climbers (you will find the highest mountain in Tyrol), hikers, cyclists and rafters. In winter, it is one of Austria's largest ski resorts.
