At the famous Dal Lake, right on the edge of the city of Srinagar, there are two beautiful gardens in the Persian style. Both were built during the powerful Mughal Empire. It is about nine kilometers from the city center by road. The garden will amaze you with its vastness as soon as you enter. It is located right by the lake, so there is also a nice view of it from the higher terraces. The axis of the garden is a small river.
