Place Metalia Beach

Limenaria is the second largest town on Thassos, but not as busy as nearby Potos. The most beautiful beach here is called Metalia and you can find it to the east of the city. It is divided into two different parts by rocks. The larger one is organized with umbrellas and the smaller one is free and practically without people. Swimming is made slightly uncomfortable by the rock slabs near the shore. The beach is very photogenic from the cliffs on both sides.
