Langtang Lirung (7,227 m above sea level) is the highest mountain in the Langtang Valley. You will see it from many different sides during the trek through the valley. The best view of it is from Kyanjin Ri hill above Kyanjin Gompa village. It is incorrectly written on wikipedia that it lies on the Nepal – Tibetan border, but this is not true, it lies entirely in Nepal.
