Not far from the town of Page, Arizona is one of the natural wonders and one of the most photographed places in the US. The Colorado River has long ago excavated a huge (300m deep) meander into the sandstone bedrock that resembles a horseshoe. Since Horseshoe Bend does not belong to any of the national parks, visiting this miracle is absolutely free.
