The bridge towers over the Colorado River and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, making it a popular tourist attraction as well as a popular destination for photography and bird watching.

A new bridge with old technology
This old road bridge was not suitable for modern heavy traffic, so it was replaced by a new bridge of the same appearance for today's road traffic. The new bridge was commissioned on 14/09/1995 and was built with the same technology as the old bridge right next to the old bridge. The original bridge is now only for pedestrians and cyclists.
