The Cerro Chorolque volcano (5,520 m above sea level) rises above the surrounding landscape in a truly unmissable way. It also exceeds the surrounding ridges and peaks by more than a kilometer. At its foot, there is also an interesting mining village of Santa Barbara (4,750 m above sea level), boasting that it is the highest mining settlement in the world.
