Bergen (the second largest city of Norway) is sometimes called the main European rain city. On average, over 200 rainy days are measured annually. The most picturesque part of town is Bergen fjord, where you will find typical Nordic houses, FishMarket, and also sail boats. The whole city surrounds seven hills. Closest to the old town is Fløyen and Ulriken is the highest hill in the area. There are cableways to both of them.
