Just a short distance from the center of Canberry, at the foot of Mount Ainslie you will find the most important Australian war memorial – the Australian War Memorial. It was built as a memorial to all the fallen soldiers of the First and Second World Wars. The monument is not only interesting in itself, but is also built in a nice place with lots of space.
