Manly is basically just one of the many suburbs of Sydney. However, it is a popular beach destination. At the same time, you can take a nice hike in Sydney Harbor National Park to enjoy the beautiful Australian coastline

Port of Manly

The Manly Scenic Walk begins in the harbor, where there is heavy traffic between Manly and Circular Quay at the Sydney Opera House. Most people head straight down the main street to a beach 500 meters away. However, we will continue west along the coast

Lori multicolored

Along the way you can see beautiful Australian parrots such as Lori (Trichoglossus haematodus)

Wellings reserve

The road leads the first 2.5 km around the built coast. The first piece of nature is a small wellings reserve with rocks and forest

Reef Beach

After another kilometer walk along the coast you will walk to the beautiful Reef Beach. You're already in the heart of Sydney Harbor National Park

Looking back at Manly

After a while, you have Manly in the palm of your hand. Fast boat port on the left, small yacht on the right

Beautiful iguana

The path climbs to the lookout and a beautiful iguana basks on the stone – a complete model

Grotto Point Reserve

The view of a nice cliff and a piece of preserved original forest is worth it.

Nature of the national park

Beautiful forest and rocks, just look for sure underfoot – poisonous snakes are here too

Castle Rock Beach

After passing through the forest, you will sink back to the sea. Above you and against you across the bay is already built-up, but the beach itself still looks almost Robinsonian

On Castle Rock beach

The local coast is really picturesque and accommodation on the surrounding green hills must also be great

Road under the cliff

The hiking trail itself has its charm in several places

End of Castle Rock Beach

From the western end of the beach is probably the most beautiful view. You don't feel like you're on the edge of a city of millions

Clontarf beach

After you go around the small rocky peninsula you are on the wide beach of Clontarf, where there are already significantly more people moving. From here it is only a kilometer and a half to the main road with a bus stop (Manly Rd Near Avona Cr), where this interesting tour ends
