Antal Stašek came from a peasant family

In the settlement of Stanový, which falls under the village of Zlatá Olešnice, about 2.5 km northwest of Vysoké nad Jizerou, there is a beautifully preserved birth house of the writer Antala Stašek.
Preserved log cabin
The ground floor timbered building is originally from 1765 and is nicely restored. The middle part is brick and the original entrance is preserved. On the east side of the building, a newer timbered annex adjoins the original barns.
