Ascent to the most beautiful Slovak mountain

The ascent to this impressive mountain begins with a friend in the village of Štefanová from the parking lot following the green sign to the Medziholie saddle, from where we head directly to the top following the red markings. From previous snowy days and low temperatures, today's sunny weather promises us a winter fairy tale with everything :-)

Noon rocks
Just above the village Štefanová. You can do well in the Medziholie saddle, but when you walk next to the trail, you are knee-deep in it :-)

Top in sight
Along the ridge of Velký Rozsutec, there were sometimes 1 m large snowdrifts, thanks to fresh snow, nothing that could not be overcome. It really started to blow here :-)
Panorama
We really wanted the views, from the left the Tatras, in the middle of the ridge of the Low Tatras, in the foreground Stoh and the ridge of the Little Fatra

Chains
Although the weather was idyllic, we had a good time
Top
After a strenuous climb and finding a fixed point on a rock for cats under the snow, we were up after 3 hours, the Beskydy Mountains were also visible :-)

Descent
The wind grew stronger over time, and during the descent there was something to do to keep our feet
Sunset
When we descend from the ridge of the mountain into the forest, where the wind weakens, the sun bends over the horizon to say goodbye to our dreams and end a wonderful day :-)
