Trip to Karpacz
Karpacz is the largest tourist center on the Polish side of the Giant Mountains. It is a great starting point for a number of nice hikes. It's worth a visit on its own. You will find several nice churches, old mountain cottages and a busy main tourist street. There is still a lot of construction going on here, too, and new accommodation capacities are being created.
Center Karpacz - Konstytucji 3 Maja
The Karpacz center is located along the busy street Konstytucji 3 Maja. Here you will find the most restaurants, souvenir stands and local cheese sellers.
Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary (Karpacz)
The largest church right in the city center is the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. It is a Catholic church. The original German style was modified after World War II.
Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Just a few tens of meters next door is another church, this time Protestant with a typical stone tower.

The local Museum of Sports and Tourism is housed in a beautiful folk building
Views of the Giant Mountains
There are nice views of the Giant Mountains from many places in the city
Księża Góra (610 m)
One of the vantage points is the Księża Góra restaurant located on the hill of the same name (610 m)
Krucze Skaly
At the south-eastern end of the town there is an interesting area with rocks and rocky viewpoints.
Lomnická dam
At the western end of the center is the picturesque Lomnická dam, where the overflow of water creates a beautiful waterfall.
ParkWodny Tropikana
At the western end of the city there is a very popular water park – ParkWodnyTropikana in the largest hotel in Karpacz, the Gołębiewski Hotel .
Wang Church
At the very western end of the city, you will find the most important monument – the Wang Church, which was brought here from Norway.
