The port of Agios Nikolaos
Starting point for Navagio beach
The port of Agios Nikolaos is one of the two main starting points for a cruise to the famous Navagio beach with a wreck or to the Blue Cave sea cave. You can park comfortably here and arrange a boat trip on the spot, usually within half an hour. In addition, it is a rather picturesque place on the harbor with a small beach and a view of the island with a lighthouse. Be careful not to confuse the beach of Agios Nikolaos on the other side of the island

From the capital of the island it is to the port about 30 kilometers drive and 35 minutes. On the south side is a huge concrete area with parking. You can also park at places where small boats leave

Different types of ships are used for trips, from boats to huge ships for more than 100 passengers. A trip to Navagio will cost 15 Euros per adult

In the port it is possible to buy supplies in the supermarket or eat in the tavern. The cruise to Navagio itself takes about 0.5–1 hours, depending on the boat you choose
