Beach as made for windsurfing
The 1.2 km long Vasiliki beach is a beach of many faces. The part located right next to the town of Vasiliki is organized with a view directly on the concrete pier of the port, so nothing much. Then follows the pebble wild beach and at the western end is a shallow sandy beach popular with children. In addition, there are hundreds of windsurfers enjoying the afternoon breeze

Right next to Vasiliki is a beach organized overlooking a long concrete jetty, so compared to other beaches in Lefkada, no miracle. A few tens of meters away, the sunbeds end and there is a „wild“ beach with white pebbles
View to the west
The western end of the beach lying directly below the massive rock ridge is significantly busier. The village is called Ponti, but for most visitors it is only a remote part of Vasiliki
Windsurfing
From the center, almost to the western end, the beach belongs to windsurfers. If you are interested, you can also register for school or rent equipment here. However, swimming in this part can be a bit uncomfortable due to that, there are a lot of people who can't handle it properly and the chances of someone crossing you are relatively high.
Background for windsurfers
Right behind the beach are maintained lawns with sun loungers for guests of the local windsurfing hotels
West end of Vasiliki beach
The western end of Vasiliki beach is shallow with sand, making it ideal for families with children. Of course, the sea here is not as nice as on the beach with white pebbles, but here the children win again
