From Ammousa to Kastri
Three beaches on a kilometer of coast
If you want to visit the famous Ammousa beach you have to drive about five kilometers from the main road. The road then leads to another small beach. The third most beautiful of them – Kastri is less difficult to access due to private development
Ammousa beach
Ammousa beach is nice, but due to the fact that it is also popular, despite the fact that it is relatively „out of hand“, it is often quite crowded.
View to the next beach
From Ammousa, the road continues along the coast along which we can go to the next beach (about 900 meters). It lies below a small mountain jutting directly from the sea
Picturesque beach
From the road you will come to a small but very nice beach surrounded by vegetation
Views of Kastri beach
The road continues to the very end of the peninsula. Here are some private apartments. From the beach at the very end of the cliff there is a view of the most beautiful beach far and wide Kastri
Walk along the cliff
About half legally you can then continue along the cliff again with a different view of the beach. You can get here either directly from the sea, or on a footpath from the apartments or descend from a cliff, which is probably enough for health
Panorama of Kastri
If you don't mind walking on anything too much on foot, you will reach a nice panoramic view of Kastri beach
