If you want to refresh yourself after a hike in the Ortles, you won't have many options. One of the swimming pools north of the Ortles is located in Prato allo Stelvio. It is not that extensive, but there is also a toboggan and nice views of the surrounding mountains.

Main pool in Schwimmbad Prad

Schwimmbad Prad is located in the north of the city right next to Camping Kiefernhain. The swimming pool thus has two entrances. One is for the public and at the same time people staying at the campsite can also access it.

Directly from the swimming pool there is a view of the forested peak of Großmontoni (1,842 m) with a transmitter.

A small water slide

There is also a small water slide opening into the second pool in the area.

Down the toboggan

Although the toboggan is not high, it is still the biggest attraction here for children.

Beautiful view of the mountains

From the toboggan there is a nice view of the mountains, such as the peak of the Tschenglser Hochwand (3,375m) and other three-thousanders forming the northern ridge of the Ortles mountain range.

In addition, a wading pool and a small slide for the smallest visitors can be seen from here.

Swimming in Prat

The main pool is roughly 30m by 20m, so you can swim a little here, if there are not many visitors.
