Not only a castle and a beautiful monastery

Burgusio is a well-known starting point for the beautiful Schlingtal valley. At the same time, you will find a beautiful castle here, which guarded the trade route Via Claudia Augusta leading through the Val Venosta valley. Outside the castle, the Benedictine monastery of Marienberg is even higher up the slope.
