Garlic is not only a good natural antibiotic, but it also helps with altitude sickness, so it is not a good idea to drive your own from the Czech Republic.

„Dal Bhat power, 24 hour“ – DAL BHAT is a typical Indian and Nepalese dish that consists of rice, bamboo curry, vegetables and lentil (legume) sauce, (sometimes fried with pieces of chopped chicken) and is really delicious.

Local drinks

You have to drink a lot on the trek, so it was good to order a thermos of hot water (small-middle-big pot) and use your own tea. Ginger lemon tea was excellent, but in terms of price it compared to western prices.

Meals on the trek

Martina Pill Wrote 20.02.2017:

On the trek, we relied on food from the locals. I know from personal experience that if a person pays attention to water and fresh vegetables, he does not eat meat and so somehow pays attention to what he is reaching for, it usually goes without problems. I almost always enjoyed the food, the portions were sufficient, sometimes unnecessarily large for me. The menu included macaroni, spaghetti, pizza, rice, potatoes and noodles, chow mainy, momo, and other local specialties. Each time the same food tasted different, depending on the ingredients. Prices rose in proportion to the height.
