They been there:

Nearly six-hour lasting walk from Chame (2 700m asl.) to Pisang is livened with occasional views of the massive mountain peaks Lamjung Himal ( 6983 m asl) and Ngadi Chuli ( 7871 m asl) in the remote Manaslu group. Another attraction is completely smoothed vertical wall of Pangri Danda and routes passages fired into the rock. Just before Pisang begins picturesque part of the stage finished with the ascent to Upper Pisang with a nice view of Annapurna II.

Lamjung Himal

There is a great view of the ice wall of Lamjung Himal jutting into the sky from the suspension bridge in Chame – super view of the beginning of this stage.

Chorten and Mani wall

At the end of Chame there is beautifully decorated chorten – one of the most beautiful you can meet at the trek around Annapurnas.

The path then leads through less interesting landscape via settlement Bhratang up to an interesting place where is the path fired over a canyon to the steep vertical rock walls.

View of the ridge

On the surrounding ridges you can clearly see based on the vegetation colors how altitude accelerates seasons – somewhere there's still summer, elsewhere already late autumn.

Before Pisang

The walk is really quick through the wide valley and after a while you see on the horizon Upper Pisang and ice peak of Chulu. It is possible to go across the bridge to the other side at the lake Dhikur Pokhari and ascent the side path directly to Upper Pisang. But the main path still leads along the west side of the river.

The bridge over Marsyangdi

Lower Pisang ( 3210 m asl ) is full of large lodges and another ones are under construction. There’s nothing you what may excite you. It is far better to cross the bridge and ascend the last 100 altitude meters to old Upper Pisang.

View of Lower Pisang

You will see Lower Pisang nice panoramic during the ascent – it is slowly beginning to be something like a tourists “housing estate".
