Beautiful hike through three views

The Bohemian Central Mountains are one of the most beautiful and most photogenic parts of the Czech Republic. This half-day tour will definitely convince you of that. We ascend to three beautiful lookout peaks. If you have more time, you can expand it with more prospects. The start and finish is in the village of Vlastislav
From Vlastislav to Plešivec
The first stage of this half-day hike is the ascent from Vlastislav to Plešivec, which is the lowest of the three peaks, but thanks to the amazing views and meadow flowers at the top, perhaps the most magical
Ascent to Plešivec (České středohoří)
Beautiful scenic peak
Plešivec (477 m above sea level) is definitely not one of the high peaks of the Bohemian Central Mountains. But it is an amazing view of the entire western part of this mountain range and far south to the region around the river Ohře. The top is bare overgrown with protected plants. The ascent to the hill is possible either from the village Vlastislav or Děkovka continue reading
From Plešivec to Oltářík
From Plešivec we go down to the village of Děkovka and continue to the second peak – Oltářík, which is also interesting by the ruins of the castle on the top
Ascent to Altarík
Ascent to the ruins with a beautiful view
In the Bohemian Central Mountains, it is just teeming with hills with the remains of a castle on top. It is not for nothing that the long-distance hiking trail Golden Trail of the Land of Castles leads here. One of them is Oltářík standing on the hill of the same name (566 m above sea level). You can go to the castle along the red road from Vlastislav around the Plešivec hill or on the other side from Lhota or along the blue road from Dřemčice. Lazier can leave the car by the road and walk less than a kilometer continue reading
From Altarík to Leipzig Mountain
After seeing the Altar, we return to the Děkovka crossroads. From here we have less than two and a half kilometers to Lhota, the starting point to Leipzig Mountain. Follow the road to Pnětlucká hájenka, where the trail turns into the forest. We bypass the Líšeň hill (548 m above sea level). Just before Lhota we still have to „jump“ the Modla stream

Ascent to Leipzig Mountain
Ascent to the dominant of the wide surroundings
Leipzig Mountain (689 m above sea level) is one of the highest peaks in the Bohemian Central Mountains. From the top you will have a beautiful semicircular view of dozens of surrounding hills. The ascent road leads either from Lhota or from Medvědice. About halfway between the two villages, from the saddle between Leipzig Mountain and Setenka, the actual ascent to the top begins. The reward for the effort is a beautiful rocky peak plateau with an interesting view of the region continue reading
Road from Leipzig Mountain to Medvědice
After hopping on Lipská hora, we will meet the same way back to the saddle, from where we continue along the red tourist sign. We're basically going around the mountain from the north. Right up we can enjoy the local wild forest growing on a steep slope. We continue along the interesting rampart until we reach the edge of the forest where Milešovka and the village of Medvědice peek out at us.

Beautiful view from the edge of the forest
Simply hiking in the Bohemian Central Mountains is about beautiful views of the local volcanoes. In Medvědice, you have to decide whether to extend the circuit almost twice and continue further through Ostrý and Boreč to Vlastislav or shorter and walk only those 3 kilometers back along a slightly busy road with constant views.

Way back to Vlastislav
The way back to Vlastislav is fast even on the road, because there is still something to look at. We see all three peaks that we conquered a while ago – Plešivec, Oltářík and Lipská hora
