God's torment in the settlement of Roudná

From Nové Hrad we will follow the yellow sign to the small settlement of Roudná and continue to the crossroads of Vránice north. Along the way we are accompanied by the sound of the forest and the bubbling of Novohradka.

The spring of Moses

The spring springs directly from the rock, which is why it is also named after Moses, who, when the Israelites were thirsty, struck the rock with a staff and a spring gushed out.

Dudych Cave

Our next stop on the red line is Dudych's cave. The cave is a 20m high cleft partially made accessible by man-made steps and handholds.

Columbus's egg

The red sign leads us through Bor u Skutče to the turnoff to Kolombovo ovje. It rests on the rock bed only with its heel. A few steps from this rock formation there is a breathtaking view of the Devil's Wake gorge.

Bathers

We are going back to the red mark. We pass the Kazatelna rock formation and continue to the Kupadla rock. There are three small lakes above one another created in the sandstone bedrock of the Prosečské stream.

Bethlehem Cave

It is an artificially constructed space that served as a prayer hall in the past. Inside, there is an interesting sculpture depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. It is located on a steep slope above the road at the foot of the rock block in which it was carved.
