Hike Bhulbhule - Nadi Bazar
Start of the Annapurnas trek
Official starting point of the trek around Annapurnas is Besi Shahar (790m asl), the capital of Lamjung. But most tourists nowadays want to avoid walking along the dusty road and take the bus from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule (9.3 trek km) (820m asl), from where they mostly set out the same day to Nadi Bazar (13 trek km) (930m asl) through the comfortable trekking path along the Marsyangdi river.
Bhulbule
The bus ends at Bhulbule directly nearby a suspension bridge across the river (see the introductory photo in the photoreport). There is the a conglomeration of lodges. Tourists broken after several hours of driving in an old bus usually want to move a little and continue on the same day in the evening a few miles to Nadi. But perhaps more tactical is to stay here, relax and set off the next morning, when there is a greater chance to see Manaslu Himal not veiled in the clouds.

The most interesting attraction on the way to Nadi is beyond fine views also nice 60 meters high waterfall, where you can also meet a bunch of monkeys.

The path leads practically through the plane scenic path along the river.
Manaslu Himal
On the way to Nadi Bazar there are magnificent views of the Manaslu Himal, however, if they are not hidden behind the clouds.
Cooking dinner
It is only 4km from Bhulbule to Nadi, so it is really a short stage. If you accommodate in a little lodge here, the evenings have a family and romantic atmosphere.
