Lesbos Island is full of interesting sights. The most beautiful city is considered to be Molyvos with its massive Byzantine fortress, picturesque streets and romantic harbor. Petra is also nice and you can find interesting sights in the capital Mytilina. Mountain villages and a number of Orthodox monasteries are also interesting.

Lesbos is characterized by picturesque mountain villages, where you sometimes feel that time has stopped here. The most famous of these are Vafeios, Lafionas, Anemotia, Vatoussa, Antissa and many others. Here, local life is concentrated around the square and the so-called cafe (it is said that for men from the village it is often the second home)
