Lesvos is the third largest Greek island located in the east of the Aegean Sea. Its almost regular triangular shape is intersected by massive bays (Kalloni and Gera) that look more like huge lakes from a height. The island is practically all mountainous with peaks reaching almost a thousand meters above sea level. It has two distinct landscapes – arid northwest and green, pine-covered southeast. It is suitable not only for sea lovers, but also for tourism and architecture.
