Turkish castle at Sigri is the largest monument and interesting backdrop of this town. As part of the island, it is probably the third most important castle after Molyvos and Mytilini. Until now, only massive perimeter walls with scruffy interior remained, so it is perhaps more interesting to look at it from afar rather than from close. Even so, it is worth seeing, because it offers different views of the town and the beach.
