Walk to the lookout over Tavari

Tavari is a small sleepy village where few tourists get lost outside of August. The beach is lined with a shaded promenade with several taverns. Occasionally you will see the original houses with a rich garden and a mountain ridge on the horizon in a gap on the edge. Thanks to the river, the surroundings are unusually green by local conditions.

However, the center of the city is a half-kilometer beach. But don't count on some crowds here either. There is a pleasant calm

If you want to go on a lookout and enjoy the wide views, head to the western end of the beach. There is also a small fishing port.

There is a bit of a useless roundabout at the port when there is nothing to do (from here you can take another longer walk to the neighboring bay of Chrousos / or drive there on gravel by car). increasing altitude is an increasingly beautiful view of the bay and the surrounding mountains, the ideal time is later in the afternoon

From the top, a view further west opens up to the massive cliffs and small bends below them.

On the horizon you can see a beautiful mountain ridge towering over the picturesque village of Mesótopos.
