The Thurn Pass (1,273m above sea level) is not very high for Alps, but is an important link between Kitzbühel in Tirol and Mittersill in the Salzburg. In addition, there are beautiful views of the Salzach Valley, surrounded by the High Tauern, just south of the pass.
