The center of Frýdlant, as the whole area is named after the local castle, is TGMasaryk Square. Its hallmark is, among other things, the distinctive town hall building, which was built in 1893–1896 and replaced the original town hall from 1532. The two-storey building with a tower bears elements of the North German Renaissance. The clock tower is 48 meters high.
