You will also find one of the largest sand quarries in the heart of the Bohemian Paradise, not far from the villages of Střeleč and Hrdoňovice. In a way, this place spoils the otherwise picturesque landscape of the Bohemian Paradise, especially when viewed from a greater distance, for example from the famous castle ruins Trosky. Right from the edge, the quarry looks quite impressive and is rightly one of the great attractions in this area.
